MTV Brazil to Have Whole Day’s Programming Against Homophobia for May 17


Tomorrow, Friday May 17, MTV Brasil is set to shift it’s entire schedule out, to dedicate all programming to the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia ! They are also throwing their weight behind the campaign : #homofobiaNÃO! (#homophobiaNO!).
The special programming will include clips and campaign shorts against homophobia, live coverage online and will be presented by television regulars, Chay Suede, Juliano Enrico, Didi, Gaia, Titi and Chuck. There will be coverage of live music in the streets, artists especially invited and VJs who support the cause throughout the day !
There will be a live studio audience and people can participate via email and social media !
The programming includes :
20:00 : A debate, mediated  by the VJ, Didi Effe, with the participation of cartoonist Laerte, PC Siqueira, the UOL columnist Vitor Ângelo, and the lawyer Dimitri Salles, among others – who will discuss changes in society, and advances and challenges in the movement against homophobia.
21:00 : Showing of the documentary  ‘VOZ MTV – HOMOFOBIA NÃO’ (MTV VOICE – HOMOPHOBIA NO) produced by MTV Brasil itself, with diverse highlights and the participation of the historian, João Silvério Trevisan.
And 3 live hours of lots of music and information !
