The Tbilisi-based Identoba LGBTQ NGO plans to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia by organizing a public march and a silent action. The aim of the march and the action is delivering the massage: “Love is for everyone” to the wider public. The march will take place on May 17, 13.00. LGBT activists and allies will gather at Freedom Square and march their way down to the former building of parliament of Georgia. The march will be concluded with 20-minutes-long silent action in front of parliament. Activists will silently hold posters against homophobia.
The organization has also called upon activists to contribute to a photo exhibition on the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia.
