Info: Get your crayons, sharpen your colouring pencils, and sniff your fruity markers! Halifax Pride is hosting an online colouring session to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHTB). Halifax Pride is happy to contribute this event as part of a series of IDAHBT events by Haligonian 2SLGBTQ+ organizations.
Halifax Pride has asked local 2SLGBTQ+ artists to create colouring pages inspired by IDHATB, the results are amazing, and we’re going to colour them together on Zoom!
Participants are asked to register via the Google Form below to receive the Zoom login details.

Colouring pages can be downloaded for printing from the discussion area of the Facebook event. Pictures are provided in PDF format so they can be opened in your favourite colouring app and digitally coloured. Don’t have an app? Take a screenshot and use Markup. Hardcopies can also be delivered to those in the Halifax area if requested in the Google Form by May 15th.

Together in solidarity, we are stronger. Break the silence and fly your rainbow flag.
1) Fri. May 17th the PRIDE flag will be raised in Grand Parade and a Mayoral Proclamation will be read by Mayor Savage.
NOTE: This is not a public event and will be shared via video afterwards. The flag will fly all weekend and we will share the flag raising video here.
2) Join us in celebration by flying your rainbow flag(s) in the windows of your safe spaces!
3) FREE GIFT! Receive a ‘NS Stronger Together’ pride decal for your window! We have 200 decals to giveaway to the first 200 people who register. One per household.
Follow the link which will be shared on May 17th on Pflag Halifax and Pflag Truro FaceBook pages. Your custom decal will be mailed to you in the month of June. Size is 5″ in length.
