European IDAHOT+ Forum 2023

Info: The IDAHOT+ Forum is the major annual event organised at European level by the European Network of LGBTI Governmental Focal Points (EFPN) that is coordinated by the Council of Europe SOGI Unit, to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia and to strengthen European cooperation on SOGIESC Equality policies. The 2023 IDAHOT+ Forum is being hosted and organised by Iceland.
The forum brings together European policymakers, activists, civil society organisations to take collective action to advance the rights of LGBTI people across Europe.
INGOs present their annual indicators and maps on the situation of the rights of LGBTI people in Europe and bring to life the challenges the LGBTI community endures. ILGA-Europe will present the Annual Rainbow Index, while Transgender Europe (TGEU) will present the Trans Rights Europe & Central Asia Index. Organisation Intersex International (OII) and IGLYO will present their annual reports. Other INGOs will be invited to send their reports. The results of indices will be examined and steps forward analysed. Thematic discussions will be held during the day
