Die S’AG Safety-Aktionsgruppe (gemeinsame Präventionsgruppe von Sub e. V. und Münchner Aids-Hilfe) ruft alle Münchner*innen und insbesondre alle LGBTIQ* auf, auf den Tag aufmerksam zu machen!

Wir haben uns für dieses Jahr den Schwerpunkt der Lage von LGBTIQ*-Personen in osteuropäischen Ländern ausgesucht. Das gesellschaftliche Backsliding in Polen, Tschetschenien oder Ungarn, Berichte über Inhaftierungen von LGBTIQ*, Aushöhlung des Rechtsstaats, Illegalisierung von Schwangerschaftsabbrüchen und hohe Suizidraten unter LGBTIQ*-Jugendlichen machen uns betroffen – und betreffen uns! Als Communities aber auch als Europäer*innen wollen wir diese Entwicklung anprangern, fordern eine Intervention der Europäischen Union und den Schutz aller LGBTIQ* überall – aber gerade in osteuropäischen Ländern.

Direction: Die Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt und vielbunt e.V. laden zur Kundgebung anlässlich des IDAHOBIT* 2021 ein

Der IDAHOBIT* ist der internationale Tag gegen Homo-, Bi-, Inter- und Trans*feindlichkeit.
Am 17. Mai 1990 strich die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) Homosexualität aus der Liste der psychischen Krankheiten. In Erinnerung daran wird jährlich weltweit am 17. Mai der IDAHOBIT* als Aktionstag gegen Diskriminierung und Ausgrenzung von Menschen aufgrund ihrer sexuellen oder geschlechtlichen Identität begangen.

Der diesjährige IDAHOBIT* steht unter dem vom International IDAHO Committee ausgewählten Motto “Together: Resisting, Supporting, Healing!”. Auch wir möchten an diesem Tag ein Zeichen setzen mit dem Fokus auf die Situation von queeren Menschen weltweit.

Die diesjährige Situation zum IDAHOBIT* ist erneut außergewöhnlich – Haltung zeigen, Stellung beziehen und die Regenbogenflagge hissen wird durch die bestehenden Umstände erschwert bis unmöglich gemacht. Doch es ist trotzdem wichtig, ein Zeichen zu setzen gegen die Diskriminierung von queeren Menschen. Mit Abstand und Maske ist dies im Freien auch sicher möglich.

Daher laden wir euch herzlich zu unserer Kundgebung am 17.05. um 18:00 Uhr auf dem Darmstädter Luisenplatz ein. Eine Aufzeichnung der Veranstaltung findet ihr im Anschluss hier auf Facebook. Bitte beachtet vor Ort die aktuell gültigen Corona-Verordnungen (Masken- und Abstandspflicht).

Event: Diversity in action – Deutsche Post DHL Group shows its colors on IDAHOBIT

Info: To mark IDAHOBIT, the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, Deutsche Post DHL Group is setting an example for diversity by hoisting Deutsche Post DHL Group rainbow flags at its Post & Parcel production facilities across Germany, the company’s headquarters in Bonn and many operating sites worldwide.
More than 400 flags will signal from 17 to 24 May 2021 that the Group understands diversity and inclusion as an integral part of corporate culture recognizing diversity among its employees as an enrichment and a great strength. From dusk until midnight the Posttower in Bonn will glow in rainbow colors and will bear the lettering #deliveredwithpride.

Info: Already since 2011, on May 17, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Inter*phobia and Trans*phobia, there are demonstrations in the City of Cologne against any kind of hostility towards the LGBT*I*QA+ community. After a virtual web-show last year, we are taking it to the streets again in 2021!

In the shadow of the cathedral, we will address the important issues from 17:00h to 19:00h on Roncalliplatz in Cologne. The Catholic Church’s ban on blessing homosexual couples, the different views of human rights in Europe (e.g. LGBTIQ*-free zones in Poland), the difficult situation of queer refugees in our country etc. are an absurdity. THIS HAS TO CHANGE!

In addition to various speeches, art performances and short music acts, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Cologne, Andreas Wolter will also speak. We also have invited Catholic organisations and churches in Cologne who showed support for our rights in this time to the event as speakers as well. Of course, the 30 meters long international rainbow flag with country flags where LGBTIQA+ people are still criminalised, will be unfurled on the square again this year.

Since hundreds of people have participated in recent years, this year we expect fewer participants because of the global pandemic, the entire Roncalliplatz is planned. This way we can offer enough space to comply with the current distance regulations. Of course, all other hygiene regulations will be observed.

Direction: Known for strong harmonies, powerful voices, and unique soulful arrangements Mo’Voce is truly inimitable.  After partnering with QueerAmnesty Berlin for celebration on May 17th, this genre blending group that fuses everything from opera to pop, musicals to Motown wanted to offer their voices in dedication to IDAHOBIT and the community.
