Benalla Rural City Council invites the community to mark IDAHOBIT (International Day Against LGBTQIA+ Discrimination) with a flag raising ceremony at 4pm on Thursday 14 May 2026 at the Benalla Civic Centre, 13 Mair Street, Benalla, VIC. Afternoon tea follows at the Benalla Visitor Information Centre, 14 Mair Street. The date is moved earlier than 17 May to allow local businesses, services and community members to participate.
