IDAHOBIT 2026 – Self Care As Community Care
16 May • 13:00 AEST
Free
May 17th is IDAHOBIT: International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination, and Transphobia. Each year, this day stands as a rallying point for LGBTIQA+ communities to stand together in opposition to the systems of oppression which lead to violence and discrimination. The fight against LGBTIQA+ discrimination takes a lot of effort and a strong community, so it is essential that we look after ourselves so we can better look out for one another. Join A Gender Agenda (AGA) for a community event exploring self-care as community care, with a range of self-care activities and opportunities to connect with other members of the community. Saturday 16 May, 1pm–3pm AEST. Register via Humanitix.
