IDAHOBIT 2025 Hosted by Siyavelana Organization
17 May • 10:00 SAST

Join Siyavelana (NPO) and SwaziLounge for a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) 2025 in Eswatini (Swaziland), honoring the global theme “The Power of Communities”. This day event, taking place on May 17th, will be hosted at the beautiful Mbabane Coronation Park.
Our event aims to celebrate and amplify LGBTQIA+ voices in Eswatini, fostering inclusion, resilience, and a profound sense of shared belonging within the community. Through art, dialogue, and increased visibility, we seek to strengthen community ties. The celebration will feature an array of vibrant stalls, creative expressions, and light entertainment for all ages, creating a festive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.
We are also committed to social giving. Attendees are encouraged to contribute to our mission of raising donations for essential needs like sanitary supplies, directly supporting those in need within our communities. Entry is free for those who RSVP, while a modest E50 contribution (in form of a hygiene pack) will go towards these vital sanitary supply donations.
Come together with us to acknowledge the resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community, raise awareness against violence and discrimination, and celebrate the incredible power of communities to drive positive change.
