Event: Awadh Queer Flash Mob
Direction: The event is being led by the queer community in Lucknow. The participants include both LGBTQIA individuals and the allya as well.

Info: The Awadh Queer Pride Committee in Lucknow is organising a flash mob, in view of the International Pride Month 2022. It would also be a celebration of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia, which is celebrated every year on May 17. This event will not help in greater visibility and representation of the queer community but also facilitate better mobilization of LGBTQIA folks in the city.

Info: Members of the queer community and allies in Vadodara city in the Indian state of Gujarat came together to create and design posters and slogans on the issues faced by us. It was a way for open discussions to take place in a safe space amongst community members and allies. We will come together on the streets of Vadodara on May 17th, 2022 to visibilize our identities and help spread awareness through these posters.
