Every year until 2020 we used to feature on Country Pages, which can be accessed via the interactive world map, as much information on May 17 events as we could find. We are currently unfortunately not in a capacity to do so anymore until further notice.

Country pages now only feature announcements of events that were directly registered on our site.

Event: The Community Talks
Direction: Meeting-discussion of the issues of LGBTI community in Armenia presented through life stories of community representatives.

Info: 5 community-based and human rights organizations (New Generation Humanitarian NGO, National Trans Coalition NGO, Armenian Trans Working Group, For Freedom Human Rights NGO and Fearless Human Rights NGO) have united their efforts to provide a platform for the LGBTI community to present their issues and problems to different stakeholder bodies, i.e. representatives of diplomatic missions and state authorities, local and international institutions, and discuss possible ways of their solution. The following topics will be discussed at the event:
–       The issues of trans* people in Armenia.
–       The process of gender affirming procedures in Armenia. Obstacles and challenges.
–       The issues of GBT people in penitentiary institutions of Armenia.
–       The issues of GBT people in the context of compulsory military service in Armenia.
–       The cases of violence towards Armenian lesbian community.
–       The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on LGBTI community in Armenia.
–     Access to healthcare services for LGBTI people in Armenia.

LGBTI community, family members and allies, community-based organizations, diplomatic missions, state and international bodies, local and international organizations are invited to participate in the event.
The event will also include a fleshmob of photomessages (posters with representatives of different institutions sharing their messages to the IDAHOBIT-2022) .

Direction: Հոմոֆոբիայի, բիֆոբիայի, ինտերֆոբիայի և տրանսֆոբիայի դեմ պայքարի միջազգային օրվան նվիրված հանդիպում քննարկում

Info: 5 համայնքահեն և իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպություններ («Նոր Սերունդ» Մարդասիրական ՀԿ-ն, «Տրանս ազգային կոալիցիա» իրավապաշտպան ՀԿ-ն, Տրանս անձանց հայաստանյան աշխատանքային խումբը, « Հանուն ազատության» իրավապաշտպան ՀԿ-ն, «Ֆիռլես» իրավապաշտպան ՀԿ-ն) միավորել են իրենց ջանքերը՝ ԼԳԲՏԻ համայնքին տրամադրելու մի հարթակ, որտեղից  վերջիններս հնարավորություն կունենան տարբեր շահագրգիռ կողմերին՝ դիվանագիտական և պետական մարմինների, տեղական և միջազգային կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներին, ներկայացնելու իրենց հուզող խնդիրները և քննարկելու դրանց լուծմանն համար հնարավոր ուղիները։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում համայնքի ներկայացուցիչները ներկայացնելու և խոսելու են հետևյալ թեմաներից՝
– Տրանս* անձանց հիմնախնդիրները Հայաստանում
– Գենդերի հաստատման գործընթացը․ խոչընդոտներն ու մարտահրավերները
–  Բռնության դեպքերը ՏՍՏ/ԳԲՏ մարդկանց նկատմամբ զինվորական հաստատություններում
– ԳԲՏ մարդկանց հիմնախնդիրները քրեակատարողական հիմնարկներում
– Բռնության դեպքերը լեսբի համայնքի նկատմամբ
– COVID-19 համավարակի ազդեցությունը ԼԳԲՏԻ համայնքի վրա
– Առողջապահական ծառայությունների հասանելությունը ՏՍՏ/ԼԳԲՏԻ մարդկանց համար
Հանդիպմանը հրավիրված են մասնակցելու ԼԳԲՏԻ համայնքը, ընտանիքի անդամները և համախոհները, համայնքահեն կազմակերպություներ, տեղական և միջազգային, դիվանագիտական մարմինների և կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ, իրավապաշտպաններ։
Միջոցառման իրականացման մասին ինֆորմացիան տեղադրվելու է մասնակից կազմակերպությունների պաշտոնական կայքերում և սոցիալական հարթակներում՝
