The Gionata Initiative coordinates annual ecumenical vigils for overcoming homotransbiphobia in faith communities across Italy and internationally, held in connection with IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia). On Sunday 17 May 2026, vigils are held at 7:00 PM in multiple cities including Cosenza (Villa Vecchia) and Catania, with church communities across Italy invited to hold their own local vigil.
