IDAHOT events 2016: Italy

Arcigay, the national LGBTI federation, releases its annual report on LGBT-phobias. The report points to the strange situation where Italy now has a law on same-sex civil unions without having a law protecting LGBT people against discriminations.

For the 10th consecutive year,  a vigil against homophobia will be held by Christian groups

 
In Vincenza, local LGBT group Arcigay will host an event at the Piazza Delle Erbe. The event will be open to the public and hopes to address issues facing the local LGBT population, including discrimination, stigma and marginalisation.
