IDAHOT Report 2015: Honduras

Once again Honduras hosted various activities to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. The Rainbow Association held many activities, most notably a film screening and public discussion held at a local university. The activities took place from 13 to 26 May.
UNAIDS, together with civil society organizations and embassies of different countries in Latin America and Europe, organized an LGBTI film festival on May 17, addressing issues such as gender violence and family relationships. Among the films were Mia, Tomboy, The other family, Do not tell anyone, and Strawberry and Chocolate.
