The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia this year inspired events all around the country.
For the third consecutive year, the Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism Agency of the Government of the City of Buenos organised its “Sexual Diversity Day” on May 17th. It took place at the Golden Hall of the Legislature of Buenos Aires and hosted discussions in areas of health and education.
In the city of Rafaela, in Santa Fe Province, multiple activities were carried out. The 2nd Regional Meeting of Sexual Diversity was one of the bigger events and also a public ceremony at the Municipality of Rafaela was organized to commemorate the “Municipal Day Against Discrimination on Sexual Orientation and Identity Gender “.
“100% Diversity and Rights” LGBT group, together with XANGO African Group, held a film screening of the documentary “Call Me Kuchu”, a powerful documentary on homophobia in Uganda.
On Sunday 17th the central activity in Buenos Aires was sports event held at the Centennial Park in the City of Buenos Aires by the Youth Team of the FALGBT and GAPEF, a sport organization member of GLISSA.
