Event: Prix Utopi·e
Direction: From May 17 to 22, 2022, the first edition of the Utopi-e Prize –
The first LGBTQIA+ prize in art – is presented at the Magasins généraux.
This week-long exhibition and festival aims to encourage and raise the profile of the queer art scene, and to appeal to a difference-aware, engaged, diverse and inclusive approach to art.
The public is invited to come and discover the exhibition of the works of the 10 artists selected by the jury of the prize among 250 applications and to take part in a transdisciplinary program: performances, DJ sets, conferences, readings, live arts… Two prizes will be awarded on this occasion: a Jury Prize and a Public Prize.
