Activists in Berlin once again organized their annual Kiss Marathon and benefit party. Under the motto “Protect every kiss!”, the Kiss Marathon took place at locations at which it is not easy for open gays, lesbians and transgender people.
With a kiss, participants showed their presence and set a common sign: “Protect every kiss!” The benefit party again mobilized broad support within the scene, with many popular clubs and parties taking part in the campaign. Participating clubs and organizers placed one of their events under the motto “Kiss Kiss Berlin – Powered by People for Tolerance!”

In addition, activists organized a Rainbow Flash Mob in Mainz in which people were invited to pick up a balloon with a flyer then walk to the marketplace to take part in a kiss-in, followed by the release of balloons. Rainbow Flash Mobs were also held in Berlin, Cologne and Hamburg.
