Info: On May 17th, annually, IDAHOT – International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, is celebrated internationally to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ rights violations and stimulate LGBTQ+ rights work worldwide.

As the foremost LGBTQ+ Rights Advocacy Organization in Jamaica, Equality For All Foundation Limited continues to advocate for and support the queer community, and to spread awareness locally on LGBTQ+ related issues and needs.

Throughout the week of May 17th, the organization hosts several activities that not all spread awareness, but also builds community. For this year, here is what we have planned:

🌈 May 16, 2024 – IDAHOT Essay Comp Award Ceremony and Reception
🌈May 17, 2024 – IDAHOT Movie Night
🌈May 18, 2024 – Larry Chang Symposium

The week culminates at the annual ‘Larry Chang Symposium’ with theme – “Exploring the changing needs of the LGBTQ+ Community” which will discuss the findings of the recently completed 2024 Jamaican LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment Survey.
