“Celebrating IDAHOT 2020 by sharing messages, music videos and selfies with a mask! The theme is ‘Breaking the Silence’ so we give a shout out to our regular visitors and our online connections to help us do just that: break the silence – and make ourselves heard!

We will celebrate this day to stand up against the hate because our love is stronger!

You can contribute by submitting one (or more) of the following options:
1.)  write a message about strenght, encouragement, unity, community, love, acceptance. Or write about harm caused by transphobia, intersectional oppression and why we need to celebrate IDAHOT. Also supportive messages for those for those stuck in a transphobic environment are very welcome!
2.) Send us a link to your favorite artists who make music about transmasculine BPOC.
3.) Take a Selfie: Transphobia wants us to be silent about our existence. Homophobia wants us to be silent about our desires. This year we’re struggling with more than usual and it might feel harder to speak up against our oppression. Around the world, people are masking up to protect each other against the coronavirus but let’s not forget to show up for each other this IDAHOT. This year, your mask is required but your silence is not. Break the silence that transphobia and homophobia demand. Take a selfie in your mask and tell us why you’re speaking up against homophobia and transphobia.
