IDAHOBIT 2026 Community Gathering

This community gathering entailed intimate conversations on democracy and wellbeing. It was co-organized by various LGBTQIA+ groups from the Philippines such as ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, STRAP, LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and 1 LGBT Filipinas.

17. mai er også Den internasjonale dagen mot homofobi, transfobi og bifobi (IDAHOBIT).

Velkommen fra klokken 17:30 i Røde Kors sine lokaler.

Her blir det servert kake, is og brus, og sikkert noe annet godt.

Kaker og godt blir laget av våre egne kakebakere og fellesverket. Dette arrangementet er åpent for alle og er 100% rusfritt og rusforebyggende.

Røde kors sine lokaler er universelt utformet.

Célébration Oecuménique pour la journée internationale contre l'homo-bi-transphobie - IDAHOBIT

En cette Journée internationale contre l’homo-bi-transphobie (IDAHOBIT), nous nous rassemblons dans un esprit d’ouverture, de foi et de solidarité pour célébrer la dignité de chaque personne, dans toute la diversité des orientations sexuelles, des identités et des parcours de vie.

Cette célébration œcuménique est un moment pour affirmer que chacun·e mérite d’être accueilli·e avec respect, bienveillance et amour. Ensemble, nous voulons faire vivre une Église et une société plus inclusives, où personne ne soit rejeté, invisibilisé ou discriminé pour ce qu’il ou elle est.

Dans la lumière de cette rencontre à la Cathédrale de Lausanne, nous faisons mémoire des luttes passées et présentes, tout en portant l’espérance d’un monde plus juste et plus humain. Que ce temps partagé nous permette de renforcer les liens, d’écouter les vécus, et de célébrer la richesse de nos diversités.

Que cette soirée soit un espace de paix, de fraternité et de joie, prolongé par des moments conviviaux et des rencontres sincères.

Souvenons-nous que l’inclusion, l’écoute et l’amour sont des chemins qui nous élèvent ensemble.

Great Rainbow Bake Off

IDAHOBIT marks the anniversary of the World Health Organization removing homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.

IDAHOBIT is now a day of action, awareness and celebration for the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic and more) and queer community, and allies are urged to celebrate, enact change and raise awareness.

The goal is for every school, institute, and work area to submit at least one to the Bake Off. Groups or individuals are welcome to make submissions. Everyone is invited to attend the event and buy one of the cakes!

This competitive annual event shows visible support for LGBTQIA+ communities and raises money from the sale of the bake-off submissions for the LGBTQIA+ Bursary. There are also multiple ways to donate to the bursary at the event. Cake sales will commence after judging.

About IDAHOBIT: Great Rainbow Bake Off
The UQ Ally Network is hosting its annual IDAHOBIT Great Rainbow Bake Off to raise funds for the LGBTQIA+ Bursary, which is offered yearly for any UQ student who is a part of the LGBTQIA+ and queer community and is experiencing financial hardship. If you’re keen to participate, be sure to register your cake entry/baked treats for a chance to win a prize.
