Join forum+ to mark International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia

On Friday 15th May forum+ is hosting an online information session to commemorate International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

We will explore the origin and importance of IDAHOBIT, and provide an update on LGBT rights internationally, in Europe and in the UK. This online information event is an open and inclusive space for people from LGBT communities, and allies, who are interested in learning more about LGBT rights and how we can all be at the heart of democracy.

IDAHOBIT, observed annually on 17th May, commemorates the 1990 decision by the World Health Organization to remove homosexuality from its International Classification of Diseases. First celebrated in 2005, the day has grown into a truly global community moment demanding action to ensure LGBTQ+ people can exercise their rights. forum+ is a small independent charity working to improve the lives of LGBT people living in Camden and Islington. We host social support groups which celebrate LGBT life in the local community and help to reduce social isolation and loneliness.
