What are Companies Around the World doing in Support of May 17?

What are companies around the world doing in support of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) on 17 May? That is the question we are hoping you can help us at the IDAHO Committee find out.

How we need your help:

  • We have created a brief survey and would be grateful if you fill out the survey on behalf of your company or send it to those in charge http://fr.surveymonkey.com/s/EngagingLGBT
  • Also please forward this page and survey to others in your network in companies who you know are actively engaging in LGBT Diversity activities.

Background information:

The IDAHO Committee considers the private sector both as an important direct “provider” of rights for its LGBT employees and as an agent of broader social change, either through its impact on consumers’ attitudes and values or through its direct support to social change agents, such as NGOs.
The IDAHO Committee is therefore interested in developing the strategic use of the Day by corporations both internally (staff policy) and externally (public communication policies, advertising, LGBT movement support, etc.), and is therefore launching an inventory process into how companies have been engaging with the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.
The outcomes of this inventory will inform IDAHO’s strategies to provide better support to the private sector and will generate momentum and ideas for further action.
We will share the results from the survey at the IDAHO event May 17, 2014.

Thank you for your support!
