DESCRIPTION:In occasione della Giornata internazionale per il contrasto alla omo-lesbo-bi-transfobia\, che si celebra il 17 maggio\, Giovedì 14 maggio alle ore 16.00 si terrà l’iniziativa “Oltre le etichette: identità libere”\, un’occasione per creare uno spazio di dialogo aperto tra università\, istituzioni\, associazioni\, mondo sportivo e comunità studentesca\, valorizzando il ruolo dell’Ateneo nella promozione di una cultura del rispetto\, della pluralità delle identità e dell’equità sociale. \n— \nTo mark the International Day Against Homophobia\, Transphobia and Biphobia\, which is celebrated on 17 May\, the event “Beyond Labels: Free Identities” will take place on Thursday 14 May at 4.00 pm. This is an opportunity to create a space for open dialogue between the university\, institutions\, associations\, the sporting world and the student community\, highlighting the University’s role in promoting a culture of respect\, diversity of identities and social equity. \nThe programme will consist of two panels.  \nThe first\, dedicated to the psychological well-being of LGBTQIA+ people and the issues of stigma\, minority stress and social alliances\, will feature the participation of lecturers\, institutional representatives\, associations and students.  \nThe second panel will explore the relationship between prejudice\, inclusive practices and social participation\, involving experts in social psychology\, sport\, education and local associations active in the community. \nIl programma si articolerà in due panel.  \nIl primo\, dedicato al benessere psicologico delle persone LGBTQIA+ e ai temi dello stigma\, del minority stress e delle alleanze sociali\, vedrà la partecipazione di docenti\, rappresentanti istituzionali\, associazioni e studenti.  \nIl secondo panel approfondirà invece il rapporto tra pregiudizi\, pratiche inclusive e partecipazione sociale\, coinvolgendo esperti di psicologia sociale\, sport\, formazione e realtà associative impegnate sul territorio.

SUMMARY:EXISTER / RÉSISTER : Existences queers – résister à l’effacement !
DESCRIPTION:En mobilisant des slogans historiques\, la Ville de Genève invite la population\, du 7 au 17 mai\n2026\, à refuser la normalisation des postures réactionnaires et des discours de haine afin de\nse positionner contre les violences envers les personnes LGBTIQ+.\nEn marge de la Journée internationale de lutte contre l’homophobie\, la biphobie et la transphobie du\n17 mai\, la Ville de Genève propose chaque année une campagne combinant un affichage public et\nun programme d’évènements et de rencontres visant à sensibiliser la population aux discriminations\nen lien avec l’orientation sexuelle et affective\, l’identité et l’expression de genre et les\ncaractéristiques sexuées. L’édition 2026 rappelle que les personnes LGBTIQ+ ont toujours existé et\ncontinuent de résister à l’effacement et au poids des normes dominantes. Elle permet de mettre en\nlumière les ressources développées par les personnes LGBTIQ+ pour survivre et s’épanouir. \nLa programmation\, réalisée en partenariat avec de nombreuses associations et institutions locales\,\npropose\, en plus de la traditionnelle commémoration du 17 mai en hommages aux victimes de\nLGBTIQ+phobies\, des rencontres publiques et ateliers qui valorisent les pratiques d’entraide et les\nsavoirs développés par les communautés LGBTIQ+ pour se protéger\, se soutenir et défendre leurs\nexistences (manifestations\, actions militantes\, plaidoyers\, engagements associatifs ou encore\nartistiques. \nLe programme complet est disponible sur www.17mai-geneve.ch.
