SUMMARY:15th annual Prague Pride Fun & Run
DESCRIPTION:15th annual Fun&Run – a charity run and fun afternoon against homophobia\, biphobia\, intersexphobia\, transphobia\, and the stigmatization of people living with HIV. \nThe proceeds from the event will be used to support the activities of the Prague Pride association\, which have a real impact on the lives of queer people in our country. These include the support services of the sbarvouven.cz counselling centre and the LGBT+ Community Centre\, the fight for justice and equal rights for LGBTQ+ people and their families through the Jsme fér initiative\, the education of teachers within the ucimolgbt.cz project\, support for rainbow families\, as well as the largest cultural and human rights event for queer people in our country – the Prague Pride Festival. Part of the proceeds will also go towards the activities of Prague’s House of Light\, a centre providing support to people living with HIV. The event is organised by Prague Pride and the Czech AIDS Aid Society to mark the International Day Against Homophobia\, Biphobia\, and Transphobia (IDAHOT)\, which commemorates the removal of homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases by the WHO on the 17th of May 1990.
