Belong Training is designed to increase capacity to create affirming spaces and practice when supporting and working with LGBTQIA+ people. We hope to fill knowledge gaps and increase the confidence and skill of people to work with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The training is 5.5 hours long and will cover:<\/p>\n
– Gender
\n– Pronouns and best practice
\n– Sexuality
\n– Intersex people
\n– Health outcomes for LGBTQIA+ people
\n– Creating an affirming practice<\/p>\n
Light refreshments provided, but BYO lunch.<\/p>\n
This event is free for individuals that live, work, volunteer or study in the Brisbane South PHN catchment area, which spans parts of Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council, Redlands City Council and the Scenic Rim.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
