The exhibition on homosexuality and trans* identity aims to break down barriers and raise awareness. Twelve roll-up displays provide visitors with information on the history of homosexuality: Until when were homosexual acts criminalized in Germany? What do the colors of the rainbow flag represent? What do penguins have to do with homosexuality? A wealth of interesting, sad, but also humorous information has been visualized in an entertaining way. The exhibition makes it clear that history is not a linear progression. Its images depict a constant ebb and flow\u2014and serve as a reminder that today\u2019s status quo cannot be taken for granted.
