SUMMARY:IDAHOBIT Community Wellbeing Festival
DESCRIPTION:Diversity ACT is a LGBTQIA+ led\, volunteer-run organisation in Canberra\, Australia which contributes to the wellbeing of our local and regional communities by running LGBTQIA+ friendly social groups and activities where peers and allies from all walks of life are welcome. \nWe know that time shared as a community – eating together\, sharing laughter\, engaging in something fun\, insightful\, or relaxing\, even for a few hours – fundamentally strengthens and creates community. It is also fundamentally regenerative\, serving as an often overlooked part of taking care of communities responding to a uncertain world. \nFor this reason\, we have chosen to mark IDAHOBIT with a Community Wellbeing Festival. All are invited to get out of the house for a day\, by themselves\, with family\, or friends\, grab a bite to eat\, browse vibrant community stalls. engage in family friendly activities\, and join workshops focused on making\, moving\, and being well.\nBest dressed can also win a prize in the Wellbeing Fashion Parade. \nEntry by donation. All welcome!
