Diversity ACT is a LGBTQIA+ led, volunteer-run organisation in Canberra, Australia which contributes to the wellbeing of our local and regional communities by running LGBTQIA+ friendly social groups and activities where peers and allies from all walks of life are welcome.

We know that time shared as a community – eating together, sharing laughter, engaging in something fun, insightful, or relaxing, even for a few hours – fundamentally strengthens and creates community. It is also fundamentally regenerative, serving as an often overlooked part of taking care of communities responding to a uncertain world.

For this reason, we have chosen to mark IDAHOBIT with a Community Wellbeing Festival. All are invited to get out of the house for a day, by themselves, with family, or friends, grab a bite to eat, browse vibrant community stalls. engage in family friendly activities, and join workshops focused on making, moving, and being well.
Best dressed can also win a prize in the Wellbeing Fashion Parade.
